Treatment Approach

For most people, video Telehealth is a surprisingly effective medium for psychotherapy. As a therapist, I operate exactly the same regardless if it’s an online or an in-person session and the major convenience factor is hard to ignore. Therapy now comes to your house, couch, or in your pocket with a Mobile App.

I use a variety of approaches to address my client’s unique needs, including (mindfulness-based) Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance/Commitment Therapy (ACT), and integrative solution-focused therapies. I am also an Adult ADHD Specialist. More important than any theoretical approach is that you feel understood, and we maintain a solid therapeutic relationship with mutual understanding, respect, and honesty.

Additionally, a growing body of research supports the practice of self-compassion and mindfulness in psychotherapy. Neuroscience research reveals that individuals who practice these techniques are happier, more resilient, and better equipped to heal painful memories from the past.
