Insurance

For Illinois residents, I accept and am In-Network with the following Insurance Providers:

  • Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Blue Choice, Cigna, Evernorth, United, UMR, Optum.
  • I can file insurance claims on your behalf and wait for the assigned insurance payment. You are responsible for any deductibles or copays/co-insurance billable to your credit card on file.

Out-of-Network

  • Superbill Provided or claims paperwork submitted for you in many cases 
  • Unable to accept any HMOs
  • Not a participating Medicare provider 
  • Negotiate your own rate

Your health insurance or employee benefit plan may cover services in whole or part, but insurance costs can vary significantly by specific employer’s plan. Call your insurer to check your coverage, benefits, and deductibles. 

Some critical questions to ask your insurance provider:

  • Do I have mental/behavioral health insurance benefits?
  • What is my mental health deductible, and has it been met? 
  • Do I have copays or co-insurance?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
